Dr. Robert Oliver has served as
senior pastor of Bastrop Bible Church since 1999. He has enjoyed serving
in the pastoral ministry for over 20 years, with an emphasis on teaching
and discipling. He previously served as associate pastor with
Grace Bible Church in College Station, Texas, and as senior pastor of Forked River Baptist Church
in Lanoka Harbor, New Jersey. Pastor Oliver received a B.B.A. from
the University of Texas before attending Dallas Theological Seminary,
where he received a Masters in Theology and a Doctorate of Ministry.
Dr. Oliver also serves as a volunteer police chaplain with the Bastrop
Police Department. Robert and his wife, Pace, have six children: Evan, Andrew, Henry, Grace,
James, and Kate.
